Taking the Tropics Skyward

Taking the Tropics Skyward

We’re huge advocates for bringing the outdoors in, so our clients can enjoy the spoils of their beautiful surroundings in the comfort of their own home. Whilst green walls and rooftop gardens are de rigour in many developments, Italian architect Stefano Boeri has plans to take this one step further, announcing his concept intention to create a “vertical forest” in the centre of Nanjing, China. A lush tangle of over 1,000 trees and 2,500 plants and shrubs will form the basis of the forest, in an attempt to offset pollution and regenerate local biodiversity. Perhaps one day we will see something similar in Melbourne?
